　　Once He Jianguo and Gu Xiaoxi were a happy married couple. He, from a remote mountain village, was tender and considerate while Gu, a girl from a profession family was open and quick-tempered. However, the differences between village life and city life had cast shadow upon their marriage and led to their divorce. Fortunately, they worked together to save their marriage and were married to each other again.

　　Gu Xiaoxi’s younger brother, Gu Xiaohang fell in love with an elder women, Jian Jia who had had an affair with a married man for six years. Their relationship was formely opposed by the family members. But they were so dedicated to each other that finally they were greeted by relatives and friends.

　　After Gu’s mother had passed away, Gu’s father, a retired professor established a relationship with nanny Xiao Xia. Supported by his daughter and son, they were happily married at the end.
